Fees & Policies
Forms of Payment Accepted
I am cash-pay only for all sessions and services. Payment may be made through Simple Practice portal via Debit Card or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club), Flexible Savings Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards, or using Link by Stripe. A correct, up-to-date card must be kept on file at all times. I am out of network with all insurance companies and do not submit claims to insurance on your behalf. You will be financially responsible for all charges and fees. Upon request, I will provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, if desired (except Medicare). I cannot guarantee your insurance company will reimburse you for our sessions; if you have questions about your insurance coverage for out of network mental health services, please contact your insurance company.
Medicare Beneficiaries: I am not a Medicare provider and have opted out of Medicare. This means that if you are a Medicare beneficiary, you cannot submit claims for my services to Medicare and I will not do so on your behalf. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, you can still receive my services, but must enter into a private contract with me that acknowledges you understand and agree to pay for services in full, and will not seek reimbursement from Medicare.
Fees
Fees are as follows:
90 minute group sessions: $75/session
60 minute individual sessions: $150/session
60 minute couples sessions: $175/session
I do also offer occasional 15-20 minute phone check ins for clients as needed, during my regular business hours. Phone check ins are no cost and are intended for infrequent use when an issue arises between sessions (i.e. needing help with a trigger that you’re struggling to resolve using your tools). Phone check ins are scheduled during my regular business hours (Monday - Thursday from 9 am - 5 pm, Fridays from 9 am - 3:30 pm); you can schedule a check in by emailing me. I usually aim to schedule our phone check in for the same day or the next day, depending on my availability.
Practice Policies
Payment is due at the time of the session.
Sessions need to be scheduled in advance. I require 24 hours notice for cancellation with no fee. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment start time will incur a late cancellation fee.
If you experience an emergency outside of session, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room.
All sessions are held virtually through Zoom (including group sessions). Please make sure to follow good video call etiquette when participating in virtual sessions.
Email is used for scheduling, cancellations, letting me know you’re running late, payment communication, etc. and sharing things that don’t require an in-depth response. Please do not text or email with me emotional concerns - instead, if it’s pressing, please schedule a phone check in or additional appointment (if available); or if it can wait, we can discuss it together in our next session.
